PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow simple and easy mass production inexpensively by using an unique structure in which a protective element such as a PTC stops a discharge part of a safety valve with no special parts for stopping the discharge part of the safety valve, and to allow connection between the protective element and a secondary battery in a good thermal conduction state. SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises a secondary battery 2 in which a sealing plate 5 comprises a safety valve 6, an insulating board 3 arranged to face the sealing plate 5 of the secondary battery 2, a protective element 4 for a battery disposed between the insulating board 3 and the sealing plate 5 of the secondary battery 2, and a resin molding 1 which is packed and molded between the sealing plate 5 of the secondary battery 2 and the insulating board 3 so that the insulating board 3 is integrated with the secondary battery 2. In the battery pack, the protective element 4 is so connected to the secondary battery 2 as to cover the safety valve 6 provided to the sealing plate 5.
