<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the tape face from being damaged by the lead edge by turning a tape reel in the tape winding direction so as to unload the magnetic tape from the state that a tape loading post is parted at least from the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The turning of a tape reel 8 or 9 in the tape winding direction is started from the state that tape loading posts 37-39 are parts at least from the magnetic tape 20. The part of the magnetic tape 20 wound on the peripheral face of a head drum 32 so far is parted from the peripheral face and the tape 20 is wound on the tape reel 8 or 9 while the part is restored to the height wound on the tape reels 8, 9. Since the tape is loaded while the magnetic tape 20 comes to a position higher than the height of the lead 36 formed to the head drum 32, the tape face is not contacted to the edge of the lead 36.</p> |
