<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce surely information recorded over two regions by recording continuously an information signal to a recording area discontinuous from the 1st recording area substantially and recording a transition discrimination signal, a just prior part discrimination signal, a just post part discrimination signal to a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:A digital information signal is fed to a contact (a) of a switch 8 and fed to a contact (b) via a delay element 9. The information signal through the contacts (a), (b) is inputted to a mixing circuit 2 via a moving contact (c) in response to the direction (arrows A, B) of the tape 6, mixed with a discrimination signal from a discrimination signal information circuit 3, fed to a recording head 5 via a recording amplifier 4 and recorded on a magnetic tape 6 run reciprocatedly. The transition pat discrimination signal, the just prior part discrimination signal and the must post part discrimination signal are recorded corresponding to both transition sections of the 1st and 2nd recording regions oif the 1st and 2nd recording regions, the just prior pat of the transition part of the 1st recording region and the just post part of the transition part of the 2nd recording region by reciprocation onto the tape 6 and the information signal is reproduced surely by detecting the signals.</p> |
