<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous tracking by detecting whether a reproducing head scans a normal track or not. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing head 101 is loaded on a piezoelectric element 102 to be an electric/mechanical conversion element, and a reproducing amplifier 103 and a reproducing signal processing signal 104 are provided. The signal processing of the regenerative signal regenerated by the reproducing head 101 is executed, and the signal is separated into a regenerating video signal 112 included in the high frequency area of the regenerative signal and a regenerating pilot signal 111 included in a comparatively low frequency area. The regenerating pilot signal 111 is inputted to a tracking error detecting circuit 108, the regenerating pilot signal is processed by the detecting circuit 108, and tracking error data 113 corresponding to the off-track quantity of the reproducing head 101 are outputted. By detecting whether the reproducing head 101 scans the normal head or not in such a manner, the erroneous tracking that the reproducing head 101 scans the track except for the normal track by mistake can be prevented.</p> |
