PURPOSE:To provide a recording method for obtaining sublimation type heat transfer recording image reduced in picture element defect such as skipping. CONSTITUTION:A sublimation type heat transfer recording device is provided in its interior before recording process with a process wherein the dusts tending to adhere to the image receiving face of a sublimation type heat transfer recording sheet are caused to adhere to a dust collecting layer for the removal thereof. Since in this way the dusts are removed from the image receiving face of the heat transfer recording sheet before the recording process and therefore close contact is made between the image receiving face thereof and the ink layer of a heat transfer sheet, transfer of the dye contained in the ink layer to the heat transfer recording sheet is not hindered, thereby obtaining fine images free from picture element defect. |
