Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for controlling white balance and an electronic device thereof. For examples, a method for operating an electronic device may include an operation of converting a first incident ray to an image; an operation of classifying a second incident ray into different rays; an operation of determining a kind of the light source of the second incident ray, based on the classified beams; an operation of controlling the white balance of the image according to the kind of light source. Also, various embodiments of the present disclosure include different embodiments from the abovementioned embodiments. So, an auto white balance function can be more improved. |
