The present invention relates to a vertical tunnel structure and a construction method thereof, and more specifically, to a vertical tunnel structure having facilities for a ventilation path and an evacuation path, and a construction method thereof. According to the present invention, the vertical tunnel structure comprises: a circular wall (10) forming an inner wall surface of a vertical hole (1) excavated to be connected to a connection tunnel (4) of an underground facility; a vertical wall (20) dividing the circular wall into a vertical evacuation path (3) and a vertical ventilation path (2); a vertical passage (30) formed from a bottom of the vertical hole to the ground by using the vertical wall (20) in the evacuation path; an evacuation stairway (40) installed in the vertical passage; and a vertical passage entrance (50) formed on a lower end of the vertical wall. |
