PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat heat pipe capable of preventing the deterioration of a capillary force and maintaining a stabilized characteristic of amount of heat transportation, and the manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The flat heat pipe 1 is manufactured by arranging a cylindrical wick 3 in a container 2 consisting of a cylindrical metallic pipe, then, the container 2 is flatten to form air gaps 4, 4 at both sides of the wick 3. The air gaps 4, 4 are formed at both sides of the wick 3 whereby the deterioration of the capillary force can be prevented. |
