<p>The fencing post (1) is made from a single metal sheet and is folded to produce a circular section. The joint (7) has folded edges gripped together so that the edges are not exposed and therefore not subject to the corrosive action of the ambient surroundings. Diametrically opposed to the joint is an external projection, made by folds in the sheet, which consists of a radial web (2) and a perpendicular flange (3, 4), the grooves formed by the web and flange receiving the fencing elements.
