The pneumatic tyre for a two-wheeled vehicle has a tread (5) which is placed on top of the zenith section (4) of a toroidal casing and which reaches outwards, on both sides of the centre section of the casing, beyond the maximum width measured between the side walls (1, 1) and is of at least approximately constant thickness. The central zone rubber layer (6) which is arranged on the central section of the tread (5), corresponding to the width direction, and the side zone rubber layers (7, 7) adjoining the rubber layer (6) on both sides are formed by rubber mixtures having different physical properties. The ratio tg delta /E' between the loss value and the storage modulus is selected to be greater in the rubber layers (7, 7) in the opposite side zones than in the rubber layer (6) of the central zone. <IMAGE> |
