PURPOSE:To perform smooth transmission of driving without generating noise and vibration, by a method wherein a planetary gear is rotatably supported, and during driving, a driving gear, the planetary gear, and a driven gear are driven and coupled together so that axes thereof are positioned on a common straight line. CONSTITUTION:The axes of a driving gear 9, a first idle gear 10, and an idle gear 4 are disposed so that they are positioned on a common straight line during driving. Although, during driving, a revolving force, by means of which the first idle gear 10 is moved in the direction of an arrow mark B, is exerted on the first idle gear, the one end of a circular groove 12 of a rotary lever 11 is locked by an engaging pin 13 and therefore, a revolving force is prevented from transmission to a second idle gear 4. A rotary force, exerted on the second idle gear 4, is decreased, a distance between the axes of the first idle gear 10 and the second idle gear 4 is prevented from change, and a proper engaging state is maintained.
