<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the influence of rainfall clutter in rainfall in an airport surface movement radar device for searching the airfield surface. SOLUTION: This airport surface movement radar device has one transmission antenna 2A and plural receiving antennas 2B-2N, and the covering area of the transmission antenna is split-received by the plural receiving antennas to reduce the receiving intensity of a reflection echo of rainfall. As a split receiving method, receiving antennas are provided for a required number of beams, or a beam is scanned sequentially by a phased array antenna to reduce the number of receiving antennas.</p> |
