PURPOSE:To suppress preignition so as to prevent damage of an engine by compensating a basic control value so as to control a parameter which relates to combustion when the preignition is detected based on pressure in a cylinder of the engine. CONSTITUTION:An engine operation condition is detected by a means (a), and pressure in a cylinder of an engine is detected by a means (b). A basic control value for controlling a combustion condition of the engine is set by a means (c) based on the detected engine operation condition. Preignition is detected by a means (d) based on detected pressure in the cylinder of the engine. When the preignition is detected, at least one or more processing to delay the ignition timing or made air-fuel ratio rich is performed in order to control the basic control value by a means (e) for compensation. A parameter which relates to combustion is thereafter controlled by a means (f) related to a compensated control output. |
