摘要 The method grinds the flanks of internal or external workpiece teeth, using an indexing profiled disc, whose rotational speed determines the cutting speed, and which moves in a spiral path in relation to the work. For flank lime modifications, an alteration in centre distance and/or the rotary component of the spiral movement is superimposed. To produce simple modified flank profiles a suitable tool is inserted and/or flanks are formed in several passes. To produce complicated flank modifications an addtional movement is carried out, consisting of components on different axes, giving a predetermined chamfering of the flanks. This is produced by altering the centre distance (delta a), the disc position (delta e) in the direction of its axis of rotation, the momentary tilt angle (delta eta), and the rotary component of the spiral movement (delta psi), and dependent on the momentary position of the tool in the direction of the axis of the work.
