<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spun yarn capable of being developed into a fiber product such as curtain having improved deodorizing effect, by using a specific deodorizing fiber and forming a specific open end spun yarn having specific voids. SOLUTION: Before an acrylic fiber obtained by wet spinning is dried, the fiber is immersed in an aqueous solution of a polyethyleneimine to give an acrylic fiber containing 0.1-10% polyethyleneimine in a state of embedded in the interior of the fiber. The acrylic fiber in an amount of 80% is mixed with an acrylic fiber containing 0.2-10 equivalent/kg carboxyl group to form a deodorizing fiber. The deodorizing fiber is subjected to open end spinning to give the objective spun yarn having 20-45%, preferably 30-45%, more preferably 35-45% void voids.</p> |
