PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the conveyance device such as a winch which can securely stop a suspended load or cable at a desired position with a high precision through a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The cable 3 for suspending the suspended load 20 is hung while wound around a winding drum 7 for taking up or paying off the cable 3. A magnetic sensor 11 is arranged nearby a specific position PS on the movement path of the cable 3. The cable 3 has a magnetic part 3b arranged so that it is positioned at the specific position PS when the suspended load 20 reaches a target position. A control circuit 17 controls the rotation of the drum 7 and the cable 3 is taken up or paid off to convey the suspended load 20 to the target position. When the suspended load 20 reaches the target position, the magnetic part 3b reaches the specific position PS and the magnetic sensor 11 detects magnetism and outputs a detection signal. The control part 17 stops rotating the drum 7 in response to the detection signal to stop the suspended load 20 at the target position.
