A jacquard heddle (1) comprising a connecting eye (2) that forms a free passage (3) for a harness cord (5) and a clamping passage (4) in communication with this free passage (3), whereby the harness cord (5) can be clamped in the clamping passage (4) and can be moved out of the free passage (3) to the clamping passage (4).
