PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain vibration and to reduce noise by supporting a shaft having over two places of high shaft supporting rigidity in the radial direction of a gear shaft. SOLUTION: When a driving gear 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow mark 8, an intermediate shaft 6 and an output shaft 7 are respectively rotated in the directions of the arrow marks 9, 10, and variation load applied to the direction of working lines of the arrow marks 13, 14 at gear meshing 11, 12 become an exciting source to excite the gear shafts. The resultant force of two meshing places concentrated on the intermediate shaft is largely generated in the vertical direction agsinst the horizontal plane formed by the center axes of three gear shafts, and the resultant force is downward when the respective gear shafts are rotated in the direction of the arrow marks 8, 9, 10, and at rotating in the reverse directions it is upward generated. The raceway surface 25 of the outer ring 24 of the bearing of the intermediate shaft is formed into elliptical shape and bearing gap in the vertical direction is previously made small, and hence shaft supporting rigidity in the vertical direction is enhanced and vibration in the vertical direction is restrained. Hereby, vibration of the gear shaft is restrained, and low vibration and low noise of the gear device can be realized.
