PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire sensing system for a multistory parking garage capable of finding a fire at the early stage of the fire, namely, at the stage where smoke is generated and specifying a fire outbreak position speedily in a narrow, complicated, and three-dimensional space such as the multistory parking garage. SOLUTION: This multistory parking garage provided with a lift 4 for transporting a vehicle into each storage place 3 of the multistory parking garage 1 is constituted such that a plurality of smoke sensors 5 arranged in the direction of its height and a surface temperature measuring device 6 provided in the lift 4 are provided to detect temperature distribution by limiting a sensing scope in the direction of height to below the smoke sensor 5 at the lowest position operated when the fire occurs based on the position of the smoke sensor 5 at the lowest position operated when the fire occurs and then scanning this limit scope by the surface temperature measuring device 6 in the lift 4 in order to specify the fire position.
