REGISTER CONTROLLER FOR IN-CIRCUIT EMULATOR AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a command shortage of a TAPC controlling a boundary scan function in regard to an ICE(an in-circuit emulator) using a JTAG interface. SOLUTION: An ICE register control part selection command is allocated to a private command freely definable by a user of commands of the TAPC. An ICE register control code is generated from the ICE register control part selection command by newly providing an exclusive ICE register control part inside the TAPC.
