PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulation and moisture-absorption/release sheet formed of bamboo vascular bundle sheaths. SOLUTION: The heat-insulation and moisture-absorption/release sheet is manufactured by shaping vascular bundle sheaths obtained from digested bamboo. The manufacturing process includes a step to digest bamboo with water, a step to crush the digested bamboo and obtain the vascular bundle sheaths and a step to obtain fibers from the vascular bundle sheaths.
