PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that can suppress a time required for user authentication while preventing compression of memory for storing user information.SOLUTION: User information on each of users of an image processing system is registered at least in one of MFPs_A to C. The MFP_C to which a user D has logged in refers to user information on the user D registered in the MFP_B to perform user authentication (S2). The MFPs each store the states of use by the users (S3). The MFPs determine an MFP in which the user information on each of the users is to be registered on the basis of the state of use (S4), and change an MFP to which the user information is to be registered on the basis of the determination (S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
