PURPOSE:To suppress deviation of a position and the influence of an adjacent information pit and to perform accurate information reproducing by outputting a photo-detected signal based on the reflected light corresponding to a region of an outer peripheral side and reproducing recorded information based on the photo-detected signal. CONSTITUTION:A system controller 14 controls a digital signal processing circuit 34, a tracking driving circuit 37 and a laser output control circuit 39 based on a command and the like from an input display section 15, and gives and receives data to/from a storage section 16. In this case, the direction of a dividing line X-X of an eight partition photodetector 30 is parallel with the circumferential direction of a disk, and an optical system is constituted so that a laser beam is made incident making to coincide the center of a spot of reflected light with the center point of the eight partition photodetector when the center line of any track is irradiated with a laser beam from an object lens in the center of a laser spot. Thereby deviation of a position and the influence of an adjacent information pit can be suppressed and accurate information reproducing can be performed. |
