Assembly includes parallel electrodes above the continuously moving veneer webs and connected alternately to a supply of H.F. Current which heats the oil contained in the electrode interior to a temp. such that the outer temp. of the electrodes are maintained at pref. 110 degrees C. Electrodes can extend transversely or parallel to the direction of motion of the veneers.
