摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial article for the filling reinforcement capable of binding firmly bone tissue in a short period of time, wherein an article is produced by coating a slurry composition comprising calcium phosphate compound and binding material on a substrate having carbonaceous porous surface, followed by drying and burning in order to carbonize the binding material and to bind simultaneously the components in slurry to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An artificial article for the filling reinforcement is provided by coating a slurry composition comprising calcium phosphate compound and binder on a substrate having carbonaceous porous surface, followed by drying and burning in order both to carbonize the binder and to bind the components in slurry to a substrate. The carbonaceous porous layer thus obtained exibits a network structure wherein a number of fibrous members, so to say, being interlocking randomly in a manner that they are bonded firmly. When the reinforce article is installed in bone, even in part, the growing bone tissue penetrates into pores of the porous part to form the firmly connected tissue. As the porous article is made up of carbonaceous material having an elastic modulus similar to that of bone it exibits a favorable affinity to bone structure during the penetration of bone tissue.
