The panel, for laying on sloping roofs, is corrugated in a file-resembling pattern across the slope. The edges across this lien are laid overlapping, so that the bottom edge of the higher panel, bent down at more than 90 deg., engages behind a protrusion formed by the similarity upward bent edge of the panel below it. These two interlocked components, lower panel projection, and upper panel edge are pressed together by a clamping device. This comprises an inclined surface near the upper panel edge, and another seated on the other panel, acting together with a wedge effect when the panels are laid.
|
