PURPOSE:To obtain constant and excellent image quality by attaining the exposing and development of plural times and changing an exposure at this time in accordance with the use environment and state of a device and a developer. CONSTITUTION:An image recognizing circuit 1 recognizing the kind of an image from input pixel data is provided and in the first exposing, all image parts are exposed with a constant exposure regardless of the kind of the image, to form an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive drum 10 and develop the electrostatic latent image by a developing device 5. The developed photosensitive drum 10 is reexposed with the exposure larger than that in the first exposing, in the image part of a specific kind, based on the output of the image recognizing circuit 1, so that the capacitance of the developed image is changed and the image is formed by redevelopment. In other words, the result of the recognition is collated with a data base, to set the exposure for irradiating a photosensitive body and the first development is executed after the first exposing. Then, the second exposing is attained with a proper exposure again and then, the second development is attained to dotain constant image quality. |
