<p>The window frame is formed by putting plastic into a mould in which the pane(s) of glass have already been placed in position. The extent of the frame's overlap on the glass is pref. defined: underneath, by a sealing frame on which the glass rests and, above, by a board placed on the glass. For double-glazed windows, distance pieces are to be put between the panes before moulding. The prefd. plastics are: polyester, epoxy resin, expanded foam, etc.</p> |
