PURPOSE:To perform communication with a specified apparatus by providing the transmitting means for an optical signal for allowing the communication between mutual stations at the entire stages of data communications on the side of an interrogator, providing a receiving means on the side of a responder, and specifying the responder (plate) for communication. CONSTITUTION:Communication can be performed without interference by using a directional optical beam and emitting an optical signal meaning the allowance of communication. Data communication is performed between an antenna and a plate. Only the specified plate can perform the communication by adjusting the emitting range of the optical signal. A light emitting device 16 is the plate of a moving-body identifying device corresponding to this method. The light emitting device 16 is constituted of a signal generator 11 for generating a communication allowance signal, a modulator 12 for modulating the signal, a light emitting element 13, which converts the modulated signal into the optical signal, and an optical system lens 14, which emits the signal light as an optical, beam 15 having the directivity. The operating condition of the plate is actuated with 'reception of optical beam' and 'receiving of operating command'. The output of a photodetector recognizes the allowance of the communication, and the capable state of communication is obtained. |
