PURPOSE: To provide a paper carton formed with a means for supporting a container on the paper carton receiving the container so that cooked food can be taken directly from the container. CONSTITUTION: A line of weakness 14 having an outline which substantially coincides with a container is provided on one of walls of the paper carton, wherein the wall is preferably a bottom wall 11. The line of weakness defines a disk with such an outline and is designed to remove the disk by a hand with a tab 15 partially extending on a side wall 12 gripped so as to form an opening. A container is fitted into the opening, and the container is supported on a rim of the opening.
