PURPOSE: An output rotation number-counting sensor problem detection device of a vehicle auto-transmission closely examines whether the output rotation number-counting sensor of a running vehicle has a problem or not. CONSTITUTION: An output rotation number-counting sensor problem detection device of a vehicle auto-transmission comprises following structures. An output rotation number detection device(100) counts the output rotation number of an auto-transmission. A signal conversion device(200) outputs to Va terminal the thing, converted to a direct current signal after receiving the signal permitted from the output rotation number detection device(100). A break switch(250) adjusts the on/off condition of the switch according to a driver's break operation. A solenoid valve A, B terminal(300) outputs a fixed on/off signal according to the transmission control signal come from the signal conversion device(200). A programmable logic device(PLD, 400) judges whether the output rotation number-counting sensor has a problem or not by a predetermined program, and outputs a transmission-stage fixed signal when the output rotation number-counting sensor has the problem. An interface circuit(500) outputs a fixed actuation signal after receiving the signal come from the PLD(400). A solenoid valve actuation device(600) turns on/off the valve by the actuation signal output from the interface circuit(500).
