摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized external resonator type mode synchronization semiconductor laser system wherein oscillation wavelength is changeable, repetition frequency is at most 1 GHz and changeable, stable operation for a long time is possible, and expedient application to optical measurement is realized. SOLUTION: In this laser system, a resonator is constituted of a semiconductor laser element and a polarization preservation optical fiber which is coupled optically with the laser element and installed to be exchangeable, and a wavelength selecting element and an optical path length adjusting device are installed in the resonator. The fiber length is so set that the repetition frequency is at most 1 GHz. All components are accommodated in a case and the temperature is controlled.
