Container unit 2 for hydraulic liquid intended to be used for, for example, hydrostatic powering of equipment in motor vehicles. The container unit comprises not only a filter housing 4 with a liquid inlet 10 but also a main container 6 which is connected to the filter housing, has a liquid outlet 32 and is in communication with the interior of the filter housing via at least two vertically separated flow passages 24, 26 whereby the flow of liquid from the filter housing 4 to the interior of the main container 6 is divided. The upper 24 of these two passages is situated in the region of the upper portion of the filter 8, while the lower passage 26 is situated in the region of the bottom of the filter housing. A liquid level measuring means 34 is also advantageously situated in the main container 6. |
