PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attain the layout of a plurality of images without preparing any template. SOLUTION: A plurality of reference areas A1 to A12 are arranged in a background region, and images are arranged so as to be inscribed in the respective reference regions. When the priority of the image arranged in the reference region A1 is high, a similar region A101 similar to the reference region is generated from the reference regions A1, A2, A5 and A6, and the image is enlarged and arranged so as to be inscribed in this.
