PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF IMMUNOGLOBULIN AGAINST THE VIRUS OF TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS

摘要

A process for preparation of immunoglobulin against the virus of tick-borne encephalitis includes the selection of plasma or blood serum of people and preparation of the desired product therefrom by the rivanol-ethanol method. People it is selected purposefully in the active natural niduses of tick-borne encephalitis among persons suffered from this infection, in the blood of which content of specific antibodies in titers makes not less 1:40, these is determined in the complement fixation test by means of diagnosticum made of the culture No. 2288 of tick-borne encephalitis virus that circulates in Ukraine. The prepared immunoglobulin is more accessible, harmless, cheap and more effective for the prophylaxis and treatment of the tick-borne encephalitis as against its analogues made with use of artificial immunization of people or animals with commercial vaccine.
