PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase processing efficiency of an image processing device, an image processing method, an image processing program, and a computer-readable recording medium with the image processing program recorded thereon. SOLUTION: A section 1047 detects elements not to be subjected to image processing in an image. The image from which the detected elements are excluded is used to perform image processing. A partial image feature value calculating unit 1045 calculates feature values corresponding to patterns of a plurality of partial images in the image in accordance with the respective partial images.
