PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a digital watermark accurately, even if defocused.SOLUTION: An imaging element 4 captures a two-dimensional image focused on a light-receiving surface, and acquires the image data of the two-dimensional image. An imaging optics 1(lenses 1A, 1B) focuses the two-dimensional image embedding a digital watermark on the light-receiving surface of the imaging element 4. An aperture stop 2 is disposed at the pupil position of the imaging optics 1, and has a coded aperture through which the light impinging on the imaging element 4 via the imaging optics 1 passes. An image processing section 5 executes deconvolution for the image data acquired by the imaging element 4 by using a blur function corresponding to the image data acquired by the imaging element 4, and obtains the image data of the two-dimensional image. The image processing section 5 extracts the digital watermark from the image data of the two-dimensional image thus obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
