PURPOSE:To support a developing unit rotatably freely, by constituting a device so that the outer peripheral plane of an end wall on one side out of two end walls which segment both end parts of the developer room of the developing unit, is formed cylindrically, and two places of the outer peripheral plane are supported rotatably freely by supporting pieces. CONSTITUTION:Both supporting shafts of a developing roller 10 are supported rotatably freely on both end walls 7 and 8 of the developing unit 1, and the supporting shaft on one side of a copying machine main body 2 in an inner side pierces through the end wall 8, and a developing roller gear is mounted on the tip part of the shaft. The end wall 7 at this side of the developing unit 1 supported at this side of a housing table is positioned for a photosensitive drum 11 through the housing table 63, and finally, this side and the inner side of the developing unit 1 are positioned at prescribed positions is parallel with the photosensitive drum 11. Also, the inner side of the housing table 63, in which a pin provided protrusively on a supporting arm 71 is engaged with a hole formed at a side plate 79 at the inner side of the main body, is positioned and supported on the copying machine main body 2 immovably. |
