Filter element from plastics

摘要

Cylindrical filter element is made by winding helically a plastics thread around a number of circularly disposed plastics rods. The pitch of the thread can be varied in order to vary slot size in the filter element. Threads are joined to rods by ultrasonic welding. The plastics material used for threads and rods is acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene.
