PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a sensor and to reduce a loss of energy, by applying an operating voltage to the sensor only when an analog value is measured. CONSTITUTION:The output of sensor 16 having an incorporated strain gauge bridge is amplified 18 and supplied successively to integral networks (4-6) and A/D converting circuits (8, 10 and 11) via switch 3. Further, the power circuit of sensor 16 is provided with switch 17 and when switch 3 is connected to reference voltage terminal 2, a control signal is sent from control logic counter circuit 11 to switch 17 to turn off switch 17, excluding the operating voltage of sensor 16. On the other hand, when an analog input value is measured with switch 3 connected to analog signal terminal 1, switch 17 is turned on and the operating voltage is applied to sensor 16. |
