PURPOSE:To prevent an inflow of fuel into an evaporating tube resulting from biasing of the fuel by simple construction, by providing a switching valve provided with a weight at a leading opening of an evaorating tube, in a fuel tank for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Because the relative oscillation of a weight 13 to a leading opening 12 of an evaporating tube 10 is not generated while a vehicle is being suspended or run on level ground, a leading opening 12 is released by valve plugs 15a and 15b of a valve 14. Evaporated gas, therefore, is discharged from the leading opening 12 through the evaporating tube 10. In a turning time of a vehicle, the weight 13 is oscillated through turning inertial force when fuel in a tank is deflected. Simultaneously with the oscillation of the weight 13 the valve plugs 15a and 15b are turned and the leading opening 12 is closed. Then, the fuel does not flow in the evaporating tube. Irrespective of continuation of the fuel deflection, prevention of fuel inflow can be maintained as the weight 13 is kept at an oscillation position. |
