DOOR CONTROL FOR AN ELECTRIC TOASTER

An electric toaster includes a rack movably positioned in a toasting cavity and connected to a door movably positioned at the front of the cavity between open and close positions. A control operates to allow the weight of the door to move the door downwardly and the rack forwardly in the toasting cavity upon completion of the toasting cycle. The door is latched in a closed position during the toasting cycle.
