PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling property by making an input member removable from a power piston. SOLUTION: A front chamber 4 is allowed to communicate with a rear chamber 5 to carry the atmosphere within the rear chamber 5 into the front chamber 4, whereby the pressure difference between the front chamber 4 and the rear chamber 5 is eliminated, and a power piston 6 and a movable wall 3 are moved toward an initial position or backward by the energizing force of a return spring 21. An output rod 11 is also moved backward by the retreat of the power piston 6 to reduce the output of a negative pressure type servo unit 1. Since the front part of an input rod 9 is inserted into the recessed part of a plunger 8, the contact state between the input rod 9 and the plunger 8 can be stably ensured, and the pushing of the plunger 8 following the advance of the input rod 9 and the pushing of the input rod 9 following the retreat of the plunger 8 can be smoothly performed. The input rod 9 is made removable from the negative pressure type servo unit 1, thereby an assembling property of the servo unit 1 into a vehicle can be improved. |
