PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic shifting from a low electric power mode or a sleep mode to a standby state by detecting the approach of a man in an image forming device of an electrophotographic system executing changeover of an operation state among the standby state, the low electric power mode and the sleep mode. SOLUTION: A power source part 2 supplies each part of a composite machine 1 with electric power, and is provided with a converter 4 which is always turned on while an AC switch 3 is turned on and the converter 5 capable of controlling the turning on and off of a DC output. The converter 4 supplies a human body detecting part 17 detecting the approach of the man to the composite machine 1 and a converter controlling part 18 turning on/off the converter 5 with DC power. The converter 5 is turned off when the composite machine l is in the sleep mode. When the human body detecting part 17 outputs a turning-on request signal to the converter controlling part 18 by detecting the approach of the man, the converter controlling part 18 outputs a turning-on signal to the converter 5, so that the converter 5 is turned on, and the composite machine 1 is shifted to the standby state, and starts warming-up. |
