PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly exchange parallelty formatted signal group with a digital signal processor. SOLUTION: A host port interface unit 34 is provided for receiving a parallelly formatted signal without using a serial port. The interface unit 34 receives a parallelly formatted signal group and address signals and stores them in a memory unit. The Interface unit 34 applies a request signal to the arbitration unit of a DMA(direct memory access) controller 32 and after the current activity of the DMA controller 32 is completed, the signal group is directly stored in the memory unit as a result. After the activity of the interface unit 34 is completed, the control of the exchange of signal group is returned to the DMA controller 23. Similarly, the signal groups are directly read out of the address of the memory unit identified by the interface unit 34. |
