PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently assemble a memory unit mounted on a process cartridge and efficiently input parts information and unit assembling information in the memory unit in the assembly stage of the process cartridge. SOLUTION: This information is inputted in the memory unit 44 of the process cartridge B after final information measurement in the assembly stage. Then, the memory unit 44 is assembled in the process cartridge B just before an information input stage.
