PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of fine polymer particles having excellent monodispersity that permits ready control of a particle shape, a particle size, a particle size distribution and the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of fine polymer particles comprises causing a polyaddition-type monomer (A) to react with a polyaddition-type monomer (B) reactive with the polyaddition-type monomer (A), where the polyaddition-type monomer (A) is caused to react with the polyaddition-type monomer (B) reactive with the polyaddition-type monomer (A) in the presence of a fine seed particle (C).
