PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle of a firm and excellent fitness to a palm and tips of fingers even when held by softly or with a few fingers of the dominant hand. SOLUTION: The toothbrush 1 has a brush member 20 and a handle member 31 incorporating the brush member 20. A three-dimensional concavities and convexities 40 are provided on the outer periphery surface of the handle member 31, and the three-dimensional concavities and convexities 40 have a plurality of unit surfaces 50 boundary lines 60 to create a unit surface 50 and a cross point 70 where boundary lines 60 cross each other. The boundary lines 60 and the cross point 70 is located relatively outside from the unit surface 50, and the unit surface 50 has a concave curve form with a slight curve between the opposing cross points 70-70. The unit surface 50 is relatively out of alignment in the axis direction of the handle member 31 relative to the adjacent unit surface 50 in the circumference of the handle 31.
