PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope capable of performing the optical observation of the front part in the insertion direction of an insertion part and surely leading out a treatment tool toward a target part plotted in the ultrasonic images of the front deep part in the insertion direction. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic endoscope 1 is provided with: on the distal end of the insertion part 2 to be inserted into a body cavity, a distal end hard part 2a disposed more on the front side than a flexible tube part 2c; an ultrasonic vibrator part 10 for scanning a surface parallel to the front side of the longitudinal direction center axis L1 of the distal end hard part 2a; and a channel hole 27 for treatment tool insertion which is opened on the distal end side end face of the ultrasonic vibrator part 10 and for which the longitudinal direction center axis L4 is parallel to the longitudinal direction center axis L1 of the distal end hard part.
