PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest support provided with a rattle preventing mechanism for a whole headrest device such as a headrest and/or a headrest stay (hereafter called a stay), in particular, the rattle preventing mechanism by the headrest support and the stays. SOLUTION: The headrest support 1, constituted of a head part, a neck part and a barrel part disposed on a seat, is provided with the rattle preventing mechanism composed of resilient strips for pressing a bracket 5 formed on the neck part and a pair of resilient strips for pressing the stays disposed in the longitudinal direction of the barrel part, and the rattle preventing mechanism constituted of through holes 3 for inserting the stays penetrating from upward to downward of the headrest support 1 and elastomers for pressing the stays disposed around the through holes 3.
